Meet Anna Raimondi

Yesterday, I made my way up to Wilton Ct, to have a "reading" with Anna Raimondi author of "Talking to the Dead in Suburbia". Usually, I am not a believer in these sort of things, but this time I think I have stumbled on the real deal. I would describe Anna as a contemporary. Anna Raimondi lives a very typical life. She once managed the business side of a large law firm, but a decade ago, when she and her husband Vince moved to Wilton with their two sons, she gave up her job and became a stay-at-home mother and PTO president. Raimondi herself will tell you that she is like anyone else in town. There is one small thing that sets her apart. Raimondi says she speaks to the dead. She explains, "What I do is a little different than being a medium," Raimondi, 48 years old, who wrote , "Talking to the Dead in Suburbia," published by Infinity this year. is a licensed hypnotherapist, a Reiki master and a Chios master. Because she is a healer, she said, the spirits who come through her in readings usually emerge with the purpose to heal her clients. Anna would be someone I would chose as a friend, a very gifted friend.

Before my reading, Anna meditated . Of course, I am not really sure what that means. Like I said, I was skeptical. Then she takes detailed notes. Most of what she says is relevant. She knew about my mother being "tough". That must be where I get my edge from. She was able to identify random thing about my past, such as family dinners. Anna knew that I hadn't been visiting my relatives and suggested I should. My relatives , the dead ones , suggested I start walking and also learn to spend some time alone. I guess they are right. She knew that I was grappling with my decision about what to do for the summer. Anna even knew that I have been looking at stone. My husband and I have been in the midst of redoing our pool patio and have visited several establishments. I prefer looking at diamonds but for now quartzite will have to do for now.

I left my session Anna's feeling a renewed sense of clarity and focus, but still wanting to hear more. But maybe that's just me always wanting more.

Hi Friends,

I haven't blogged in such a  long time because my world has become wonderfully busy and a bit chaotic.  I asked the universe what I was to do; and it answered "write a book."  I did.  I then asked, "now what?" And the answer was "you are doing our work leave the rest to us."  And, so I surrendered.  My book seems to be doing rather well and is expanding my client base.  I am able to spread the word at public venues and to my clients.  The universe is opening up doors that seem to be swinging open.  All I have to do is walk through.  And, now  the universe is showing me what I need to do and what I need to pass on.  I need help.  I can no longer do the administrative stuff, I need to focus on the readings, the healing and the speaking.  This is what I wanted.  But more importantly this is what God wanted for me.  And so, I am here a servant of the Divine living my life in a way that makes sense -- to me, the people around me and the universe.

As I go about my days and do readings for more and more people, I am amazed at the number of people who push their special gifts aside.  When they are given a glimpse into the spirit realm, they are frozen by fear of moving into their gifts and speaking about them.  And, so, they come to me because there is no judgment.  I am honored to be the ear to which they speak of their sacred gifts.  We are all gifted in one way or another.  The spirit world is calling us to walk our walks and embrace the gifts with which we have been graced.  Don't be afraid -- protect yourself with the pure light of the universe; with God's love -- and allow your gifts to flourish and grow.

Thank so much for your support.  I am amazed at the out pouring of support, not only from my friends, but from people I have never met in person.  The book, which is still not wide-scaled distributed, has sold more than 500 copies in less than one month. I am so happy that it is touching so many people.

Although Talking in the Dead in Suburbia will not be widely distributed probably for another 6 months or so (that's how long it takes guys!), I am continuing the book tour and speaking to more and  more people.  I can see the gleam in the eyes of those whose eyes have been newly opened.  It's so wonderful.  I have been receiving lots of emails about the book which is so exciting for me.  Of course, the book can be purchased from bbotw.com with no back orders.  More and more people have signed up for my newsletter.  Thank you to all of you for allowing me to share with you in person or via the internet.

I am having so much fun.  I have been doing book signings here there and everywhere in the tri-state New York area.  People have been so receptive to the book and my energy.  The questions asked are insightful and inspiring.  I am waiting to bring the message full scale and national.  There is talk about having me present the book on a prime time television morning show . . .  I am praying.  The message of love and that we are not alone at this time of crises in our world is essential.  Please pray that a bigger audience will be able to capture the message from the book.  The crises will pass . . .  the message of hope will linger forever.

Talking to the Dead in Suburbia has been published for one week and I am as busy as I have ever been.  It's so exciting to know that so many people will hear the message of the book and perhaps, open up a bit more to the power of the universe.  I am busy planning book signings, radio shows and other events.  It's something I have never been involved in before, so it's a bit daunting but great!! I am still waiting for amazon.com to up-load the information to their web site so that all my friends overseas can also get the book.  Right now only bbotw.com has up-loaded the information.  Patience is truly a blessing!!
