What are you searching for spiritually?

I was amazed at the amount of people in Lily Dale seeking "spiritual" truths. And, I began to wonder. . . What are you searching for spiritually? Why would you seek a medium or someone to connect with the other side for you? What is your ultimate quest? What are your questions? I really want to know.

Personally, I am seeking a greater one-on-one connection with God in order to discover more clearly His perfect plan for my life and become all that I can be, for him, for myself, and for the world. I believe we all have been created for a specific purpose, a unique plan, and if we do not fulfill our role...the whole world misses out. What do I have that is uniquely designed that the world needs? I strive every day to become more perfectly myself, while walking in the footsteps of the Father's Love.

There are a few reasons for my own personal searching..One reason is just plain fascination with the spiritual/metaphysical world. I want to see MORE than what is out there, MORE than what the physical eyes see, MORE than what the physical ears hear, I want to cross the boundary line of every single sense attached to this physical world and KNOW things for my OWN self and not because others have had the privilege of knowing for themselves and passing it on, but to really KNOW for myself, so I can have my own personal conviction and not have to rely on just faith any longer. Once you know for yourself instead of thru the eyes or senses of a "psychic" then you can truly claim it as your own "knowing" and then there is no need for faith.
You want to feel worthwhile and if the secrets and understanding are opened up to "you" then you would feel validated and secure. You would feel worthy and more deserving. I believe it would bring more peace and calmness, and happiness in your life. I know it would mine anyway.
I mean what sounds better?.., saying you have studied and read, or saying you actually know because you have seen, heard, etc..

I have always been curious about the hearafter and what we will experience. I am personally looking to connect with my dad who died suddenly and unexpectedly. I have always and a connection to my departed loved ones and am finding it particularly difficuly this time to sense him. I want to make sure he is okay and do my best to finish anything he had left to do. I always want to learn and belive that we are here for a reasons, so I need to understand whether there is a message for me in all of this in how I move forward. Thank you Anna for helping me contact my dad but I feel that things are still unfinished and don't know what I am supposed to do. If I can make the timing work, I think I will take your fall class to see if this helps bring further clarity.
Give it time. He has only been gone a short time. You are moving through the stages of grief and his physical passing needs to settle in your mind, soul and heart. He is with you and always will be. He will lead you on. . . Just let it happen. Be well and be happy.

I came to your session because I have been seeing and hearing and feeling things from the other side. I can sense when there is a spirit around, but can't channel it in. I wanted to learn how to have a better connection with myself and not the noise clustered in my head to see if I could learn how to clear that noise and be able to listen better. I also came to get answers about my father and when he will be leaving this plain. He is sick and he once told me that he was told that he only had 15 more years to live. When I was there and we sent the question around I got back the same answer. It confirmed for me that he was correct. I was hoping not. but I have come to peace with it and am living ever day with him and enjoying my time with him. Thank you for your time with us at lilydale and thank you for fixing my headache that day. You placed your hands on my head it and itwas gone. you are amazing. Thank you.
