An Autumn Women’s
September 28–October 1, 2012
Facilitated by Spiritual Counselor,
I am changing, tryin' every way I can
I am changing, I'll be better than I am
I'm trying-to find a way to understand
But I need you, I need you-I need a hand
I am changing, seeing everything so clear
I am changing, I'm gonna start right now, right here
I'm hoping to work it out, and I know that I can
But I need you, I need a hand
Jennifer Hudson- Dream Girls
Life is a journey, every day is a new voyage of change. We never stop dreaming new dreams and changing as spirits and as woman. When we go through life on auto-pilot, our inner voice is ignore and we become stuck. Autumn is a time of letting go, moving from the beauty of summer into the every changing world of nature. As the leaves change from verdant green to the soft wonderful hues of yellow, orange and red, this retreat will help you with your own change and to embrace your personal evolution with the support of a spiritual group of women. You will emerge from this weekend with the strength, purpose and courage to be who you are meant to be. You will hear and be able to listen to your own inner voice. Everyone needs a hand in reaching their dreams.
The weekend will begin on Friday evening with a light dinner. Feel free to arrive a bit early and take advantage of the rustic log cabin on Lake Highland. The formal retreat will conclude on Sunday at noon. Participants are encouraged to continue to commune with each other until Monday morning -- lodging is included until such time.
This weekend will include full use of the property for hiking, kayaking, outdoor and indoor meditation and shamanic healing rituals around the indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit. You are invited to awaken your authentic voice, your truth, to recognize the power that lies inside you and to manifest your dreams into reality. The experience of the weekend will allow each participant to heal and move forward in life using tools to maintain resilience from the inside out including mind, body, heart and soul. Using a combination of personal stories, exploratory self-awareness and healing exercises, poetry, music and spiritual connection, this weekend will prove to be magical. Through a series of heart-to-heart group exercises, visualizations, meditations, creative writing, inner child work, connection to spirit, and time alone in nature, you will take this extraordinary journey with a small group of women just like you.
