Walk in Love ... Not Hate

Dear Friends,

Today we celebrate a man whose goal was to bring equality and peace in a

non-violent way ....

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King said:

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

Martin Luther King, Jr. was speaking not only about the world at large, but to each one of us individually. We cannot find peace and love in relationships unless we drop judgment and hate ... which prevents love. We cannot hate our enemies and hope for peace and love in return. Hate begets hate and love begets love.

Love is the force that solves all. We cannot solve issues in our families or friendships by letting darkness overtake us. We must walk in the light and in the love that is the energy of our maker in order to find love in all relationships. We must be the beacons of light that shines healing on people around us.

Catch yourself when you feel that you are wandering in the dark, and move into the light. You will see relationships change for the better and allow joy to fill your heart.

With much love,

Anna
